Maximum Motorsport is proud to announce an end-of-year TCR Test Prize for the 2025 Champions in the 750 Motor Club Clio Sport and Hot Hatch Championships, putting one of the biggest prizes on offer in UK Motorsport for Club Racing champions.
The same prize has also been put in place for the Milltek Civic Cup, where the 2025 Drivers Champion, along with the Paul Winfield Trophy champion and the Goodyear Diamond Award champion will all get to try out a current TCR car.

This provides all of the qualifying drivers with an insight into what the next step on the UK Motorsport ladder looks like, with this being the first time that the prize has been offered to the 750 Motor Club Clio Sport and Hot Hatch champions.
This incentive offers drivers the chance to test out the latest TCR machinery, with previous Milltek Civic Cup champions such as Bruce Winfield, Jamie Tonks and two-time former 750MC Hot Hatch Class A Champion Alistair Camp having progressed to TCR UK and taken race wins.

Club racing is part of the grassroots of UK Motorsport, where many drivers from different backgrounds go racing at weekends, taking on the various challenges on offer, especially from such a popular proving ground as the 750 Motor Club.
Maximum Motorsport promotes and operates TCR UK, which itself offers a first step into the high-profile world of Touring Car Racing. Many TCR UK race winners have gone on to race at regional level, competing in such regional series as TCR Europe, TCR Asia and TCR China, as well as taking part in the top echelon of TCR competition: The FIA TCR World Tour.

This also continues the growing relationship between Maximum Motorsport and the 750 Motor Club following the announcement of a sub-licence agreement last year which allows Gen 1 TR cars to compete in 750MC events such as Club Enduro this year.
Maximum Motorsport Founder Stewart Lines is delighted to offer the TCR Test Drive Prize, which is one of the biggest prizes in UK Motorsport.
“I’m delighted to be able to provide this Test Prize to the top drivers in the Milltek Civic Cup, as well as extending it to the champions from the 750 Motor Club Clio Sport and Hot Hatch championships this year,” said Stewart.
“It’s important to reward the hard work and efforts of those drivers who succeed in reaching the top in their respective championships, and providing a test in a current spec TCR car is one of the biggest prizes in UK Motorsport.”
750 Motor Club Managing Director Giles Groombridge added:
“Since inception our Clio Sport and Hot Hatch Championships have offered both a longstanding home for tin-top racers to enjoy really close competition year-on-year, but also a stepping stone for some drivers who have honed their skills in these ultra-competitive formulae before taking a step up the motorsport ladder. The opportunity to test a TCR car is a really exciting experience and opportunity for drivers in both championships.”
