2024 TCR UK Teams champions JH Racing have announced that they are committing to the 2025 Junior Touring Car Programme, where they will run one car alongside their thriving line-up in this year’s TCR UK Touring Car Championship.
This gives potential junior drivers a chance to drive a Hyundai i30 N TCR next year, run by both a race-winning and championship-winning team.
The James Hone run outfit enjoyed a successful 2024 season, taking six race wins out of twenty rounds, a total of thirteen podium finishes and four pole positions with drivers Callum Newsham and Darron Lewis.
Newsham finished in third place in the driver’s championship, also being awarded the Dan Kirby Memorial Trophy for showing the spirit of the TCR UK championship. Lewis claimed the Goodyear Diamond Award, having dominated the season after his switch to driving a Hyundai.
There is a test arranged for Monday, 16th December, where interested junior drivers can take the opportunity to sample a Hyundai i30 N TCR.
The cost to sign up for the Junior Touring Car Programme is £85,000 + VAT, one of the cheapest touring car drives on the market at this time.
Applicants for the Junior Touring Car Programme need to be between 16-25 years old and must contact Championship Manager Jack Finlan for more information using the details below:
