Brad Hutchison has set the 2025 TCR UK Touring Car Championship title in his sights after finishing the 2024 season as runner-up.
Confirming his return for what will be his fourth consecutive season, Brad will be back behind the wheel of the Bond It Elland Roofing CUPRA Leon Competicion TCR, which itself is back for a second year in the championship.
Run by father Martin through the MPHR squad, 2024 was a breakthrough year for Brad, moving to the CUPRA from the Gen 1 Audi and immediately making strides as he took his debut win at Snetterton in May. Brad added wins at Silverstone in August and again in October, where he won the final race of the season.
The West-Yorkshire-based driver also made eleven more appearances on the podium, adding to what was his best season to date in TCR UK.
Brad is back for a second year in the CUPRA and is looking to seal his maiden driver title, having shown that he is now one of the top talents in the championship, having made his debut back in 2022.
“We’re proud to be back in TCR UK for our fourth season and hoping to continue where we left off at Silverstone with the last win of the year. We’ve had incredible support from our sponsors and we look forward to another exciting season in 2025,” said Brad.
“Having gotten to grips with the CUPRA Leon Competicion TCR last year and taking three wins, I’m excited to go racing again, and this time, I want to go one better than last year. We’ve shown that we can race with the best teams and drivers in the championship, so I’m aiming to add the biggest trophy on offer to the cabinet by the end of the year.”
