Alistair Camp will make his full-time debut in the TCR UK Touring Car Championship this year.
Driving his Hyundai i30 N TCR with Area Motorsport, Alistair will line up on the grid for the full 2025 season, which gets underway at Donington Park on 22nd – 23rd March.
With the recent cost-cutting measures announced by the championship, this has now presented the perfect opportunity for the former Milltek Civic Cup champion to enter the series on a full-time basis.
Racing as a one-off entry three times across 2023 and 2024, Camp took his first TCR UK race win at Donington Park, adding to the list of race winners already announced for 2025.
Having tested his Hyundai at the recent Maximum Motorsport Pre-Season test day, Alistair is confident as he looks forward to his full-season assault on the series.
“After dipping my toe in the water on several occasions, I decided it was the perfect time to go all in and mount a full season entry in TCR UK. I’ve always enjoyed each of my previous visits in the championship, where I have never been outside of the top ten,” said Alistair.
“The recent Pre-Season test day showed me that I am competitive in a TCR car, and I left the test feeling really good about myself and the car. I always aim high each year, so I plan to visit the podium regularly whilst fighting at the front each weekend.”
TCR UK Championship Promoter Stewart Lines is delighted to see Alistair confirm his entry in TCR UK as a full-time driver.
