The TCR UK Touring Car Championship offers an exciting change this year, with new series to watch and enjoy across all seven race weekends on the 2025 calendar.

Moving to the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) this year means that TCR UK will be joined by new supporting championships and some returning series from last year.

Below are the various championships who will be joining us across each of the seven race weekends in 2025.

The season begins at Donington Park on 22-23 March, where the National circuit will host the opening rounds of TCR UK and the Milltek Civic Cup. Both championships will be joined by the exciting SuperTourers and the various classes of classic touring cars, as well as the next generation of racers in both the Track Action Racing Club and Junior Saloon Car Championship.

April sees a second visit to Donington Park, where TCR UK will rejoin the British GT Championship for their opening race weekend. Always putting on a great show in front of large crowds at British GT events, TCR UK will also be joined by GB4 and the three Ginetta championships: Ginetta GT, Ginetta Juinor and Ginetta Academy.

May presents the TCR UK competitors with the first-ever chance to race overseas, as the UK series joins the TCR Europe Touring Car Series at the legendary Spa-Francrochamps. The International GT Open series, along with its various support championships, will be in action over the same weekend.

Returning to UK shores in June, TCR UK heads north for its event at Croft in North Yorkshire. Having endured a wet weekend in 2024, this year will see the Milltek Civic Cup joined on the support bill by the Junior Saloon Car Championship, the Track Action Racing Club and the Caterham Graduates.

Oulton Park retains its traditional one-day event in July, where TCR UK heads into the second half of the season. The Milltek Civic Cup, the Junior Saloon Car Championship and the Track Action Racing Club are back for more excitement, whilst the Scottish Mini Cooper Championship and the CNC Headsports Saloons will provide the Cheshire crowds with a great day of racing.

After a break in August, TCR UK returns in September, where it joins the British Truck Racing Championship at Snetterton on the 300 circuit for the first time, offering the trackside crowds plenty of exciting on-track racing from the Trucks as well as the Touring Cars.

The Milltek Civic Cup, the Junior Saloon Car Championship and the Track Action Racing Club provide further exciting tin-top action whilst the Caterham Graduates return and the MINI Challenge Club joins the support package for the first time.

TCR UK Championship Promoter Stewart Lines is excited to bring TCR UK to new crowds in 2025.

“Moving to BARC meant that we are able to provide our customers with a bigger and better platform for 2025, racing at much larger events alongside British GT and the British Truck Racing championship. This means that new crowds and audiences will experience TCR UK for the first time,” explained Stewart.

“Having regular support series such as Milltek Civic Cup, JSCC, and the Track Action Racing Club provides a new ladder of progression for up-and-coming drivers looking to step up to Touring Car racing in TCR UK.”
